Pixel values are rounded to the nearest whole pixel. Bleed adds twice the per-side amount to both the width and height.
Bleed expands the working document, not the finished product. The trim size remains the final cut dimensions.
Bleed sits outside trim; the safe area sits inside it. They solve different production risks and should be calculated separately.
Effective resolution comes from pixels divided by final inches. Changing metadata without adding real detail does not improve it.
